Why is “sites” misspelled in CYber SYtes?

We get this question a lot.  In school they taught us (all) A, E, I, O, U and sometimes Y. We always liked Y because it came with a choice. So we decided to choose “Y” for the “I” in Sites. We know our customers have a choice too. Our “Y” in SYtes reminds us of that every day.
