Splash Pages
Our search engine-friendly splash page is a dynamic way to welcome visitors to your site. You can use the splash page to notify visitors of a special deal, advertisement, or new product, or to give a special welcome or greeting. Splash pages can attract a visitor’s attention and really get your site noticed.

How it Works
The splash page is built right into the home page and displays when the visitor first enters the site. When the splash page is clicked, the actual home page fades into view. In the past, splash pages were usually entirely separate pages, which was not good for search engine rankings. This is no longer a concern!
Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the splash page have to take up the entire screen?
No, we can also create “splash banners” across the full width of the top or bottom of the screen or in a popup window.
- Won’t visitors get annoyed if they keep getting the splash page every time they visit a page?
We can create a setting so visitors won’t receive the splash page again for a specified amount of time — say, 24 hours.
- Do we have to use this on the homepage?
No, we can place a splash page on any page of your site. You can use a splash page to highlight a new product in an online store, announce the winner on a contest page, introduce a new employee on a staff page, etc. However, one splash page per site is probably enough.
