Content Guidelines

Thank you for choosing CYber SYtes to create your web site. We want to make the process of creating your new site as simple as possible. Please review the following suggestions regarding getting the information you want to be included on your site to us.

What exactly is content? Content is the word we use to refer to the information you put on your website such as text, photos, logos, documents or forms, videos, etc. We’ve listed a few of the best ways of send us your content. Any time you send information to us, please reference your website’s domain name (for example – www.yoursite.com).

Sending large files to us: We suggest when sending more than 1 or 2 photos, pdf’s, video clips, etc. that are larger than 1-2 MB in size that you use one of the file delivery services below. These services are generally free, easy to use and dependable. (Email does NOT always dependably send large files).

When sending a large number of files (3 or more), please create a .zip file of the files and then send via one of the service(s) above.

Submit your information by Email: This is a great way to send text. Just copy and paste the words for your site into an email and send it to updates@cysy.com or to your designers email address. Be sure to clearly reference what section or page on the site the text is intended for.

Emailing images or files works well if you don’t have a lot of images or files to send. Depending on the size of your files and the number of files, you may need to “zip” your files before emailing them to us. Try to keep the zip file size less than 3MB. Send them to updates@cysy.com or to your designers email address. If the file size is larger than 3 MB please use a service found in “Sending large files to us” above.

Submit your information by CD/DVD: Another way to provide us with content is to copy it onto a CD or DVD and either deliver it to our office or mail it to us at: 19981 Panama City Beach Pkwy, Panama City Beach, FL 32413.

Hard Copy (paper – either mailed or faxed): Providing your information on paper is the least effective and most expensive way to provide your content to us. This format requires us to re-copy all the supplied information into our computers. That time spent simply copying your information is billable. Save money! Provide your site’s information already in an electronic format.
