Updates and Repairs Policy
Updates
Minor Updates: (Covered by minor update policy in contract)
There is no charge for minor updates (edits) to a web site that do not exceed a 30 minute cumulative total in a one month period. This policy does not include changes or modifications to software or web applications.
Updates to a web site that exceed 30 minutes in a one month period will be considered billable in full to include the first 30 minutes. Each Web site that incurs a hosting fee qualifies for 30 minutes of minor updates per month. These updates require no authorization beyond the written request. $999 web site specials are excluded from this policy.
Standard Updates – (30 minutes to 2 hours) : These updates only require email authorization and are considered billable in full.
Major Updates (2 – 8 hours): updates over 2 hours but less than 8 hours will require an estimate for the time/cost to complete the requested update be sent to the client via email. A confirmation email received from the client acknowledging the cost and scope of the work requested is required before proceeding with the update.
No deposit required for any of the above updates.
Updates to $999 Specials
Once the site is launched ALL work performed on the site will be billed at $85 per hour (including work that is promised with the initial $999 Web Site special offering). To have five pages built by us you must provide content for them within 2 weeks (10 business days) of the project start, the date of which is determined by the Project Start email you will receive from our design team.
All updates to the web site made by us after site launch are billable at our standard design rate of $85/hour. If extra charges are foreseen to complete the requested work on your web site, we will notify you in advance of the start of the work and seek authorization for proceeding with the billable work. No billable work will be done without either a signed work order or a confirmation sent by email from the email of the person that requested the $999 Web Site special. Any additional charges will be placed immediately on the credit card on file at the completion of the requested work.
Repairs
Of course, repairs to websites for damages or problems caused directly by CYber SYtes, Inc., or one of its sub-contractors, will not be considered billable.
Repairs incurred as a result from any other source will be considered billable in full.
CYber SYtes, Inc. staff will evaluate each repair on a case-by-case basis to determine the cause of the damage and the client will be notified accordingly.
